Of course it is possible to tour Venice solely by foot but the tendency to get lost into these lookalike streets or to realise you are on the wrong side of the canal.

And I will highly recommend buying the Venice Connected Card online to get advantage of the online promotion and effectively get a cheaper rate if you plan properly. This is because the card is seasonally priced in the website.

When you wish to visit Venice, please remember that your train station must be heading towards Venezia San Lucia and not Venezia Mestre. The moment you alight, a beautiful river broadwalk sight awaits you. In addition, you get the touristy feel.
On the other hand, Venezia Mestre which is a stop before Venezia San Lucia for trains heading towards Venezia San Lucia is a serious industrial town. There are somedays you have no choice but to be at this town though. For me, my train to Florence started at this serious town and I had to catch a regional train from Venezia San Lucia to Venezia Mestre just to board the train to Florence.
So make sure you know which Venezia stations you need to head to.

Taking trains in Italy is not an expensive option and if you plan prudently, you may not need to purchase the RailPass e.g. Eurail. I personally love the Eurail having used their service for my Europe trip previously but I dropped this option after careful calculation and consideration. One of the major reason is because even with the Eurail pass, I still need to pay (variable) seat reservation charges for those Eurostar trains (EScity). Check here (Eurail website) for the variable seat reservation charges which ranges from €3 to €15.
Tour City Sight Seeing Verona
Caught sight of the City Sight Seeing in Verona too. Apparently it starts from Corso Porta Nuova to Giardini Pradaval and the entire journey lasts 60 minutes.

Visit Milan San Siro Stadium
Take the Metro to Lotto-Fiera station.
Go past McDonalds (on your left),
and take Via Caprillo, following the line of trees along the edge of the Ippodromo.
This route takes you to the Curva Nord, the northern end of the stadium.
This is a fairly long walk but it will lead you to 2 interesting tourist spots.
Milano Safety
Beware of people hanging around the square outside Duomo. They will walk up to you and forcefully put corn on your hands to feed the pigeons on the pretense that they are free. This will then attract the pigeons in the surrounding area to fly towards you. These people will then pursue you for money.
Else they will ask if you want to take photos with the pigeons and if you agree, you will be given some corn to attract the pigeons.

If you want to visit Milan without walking, you can consider taking the City Sightseeing roofless bus. There are 2 routes for you to choose.

Traditionally, meals in Italy usually contain 3 or 4 courses. Meals are seen as a time to spend with family and friends and can last for hours. Probably explain why certain tourist attractions will just close for a few hours during lunch time.
