The classic modern Italian breakfast is a cup of perfectly prepared cappuccino coffee with a 'cornetto' or croissant style bread sweet.
In fact, in Italy, these milky concoctions — cappuccino and caffe' latte — are drunk only at breakfast. Rarely do people ask for a cup of cuppuccino for lunch.
Oh and breakfast is normally eaten standing in a bar and chatting with friends.
