Visit Palazzo Ducale

Take a secret itinerary in Palazzo Ducale

Right next (and partly connected) to St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace is arguably the second most important “attraction” in Venice after the Basilica.

While there are several good reasons to pay the hefty admission fee to tour the Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale in Italian), probably the most popular reason is you get to walk over the famous Bridge of Sighs. You can see the bridge from the outside without buying an entry ticket, but the only way to walk on the bridge yourself is as part of a Doge’s Palace tour.
Check out here on how to go.

And if you consider paying, then you might consider paying a little bit more to attend the secret itineraries tour. Check here for the booking of tickets.

Not accessible with the standard ticket, these tours take the visitor into the most secret and fascinating rooms in the Palace. The tours are for a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 25.

Schedule:
Italian 9.30; 11.10
English 9.55 10.45; 11.35
French 10.20; 12.00

Admission full cost: 18 euros.

Have fun! But take note photography disallowed in the secret itinerary part.
