How to hail a taxi in Melbourne?
The traditional method is to flag a cab down along the road. But sometimes you do not even see any cab in sight, how to flag it then?
You can try finding a stand like this to hail a taxi. Taxi nearby will answer to it and you will be able to catch a taxi without much arm exercise...
Or you can ask your receptionist (if you happen to have one) to call a cab for you. My apartment happen to enlist Premium Cab Service for private cab services. I might call them when I return back to Melbourne.

Sometimes if it is an emergency, and the traffic is bad, one can call for the ambulance helicopter departing from Alfred Hospital helipad.

Eat Gelato in Italy
Gelato of different flavours. It seems that you can never stop finding a new flavour to try and is the best thing to have in your hands on those hot sunny days in Italy.
You can have them in cups...

or in cones...
But where is the best place to have natural handmade gelato? None other than Florence, of which there are 2 highly recommended place to enjoy this Italian dessert :)
The first place is Perche no! which is actually close to Museo Casa Di Dante in remembrance of Dante Alighieri (an Italian poet and the father of the Italian language).
If that piece of information does not help you, then try orientating yourself at Duomo then walk towards the direction of Uffizi Gallery and you may just chance upon Perche no! I certainly hope you do as though I'm not a food critique and am clueless what is so special about Gelato, I certainly felt it absolutely necessary to have a cup and would much prefer to know what I'm putting into my stomach is not just pure chemicals.
Another place is Gelateria Santa Trinita. Facing the Santa Trinita Bridge, this shop not only sell the loveliest gelato (of which you must try the Buontalenti al mascarpone flavour), it also sells the loveliest handmade chocolates - AMEDEI which is claimed to be (Champion of the World). I don't know about that, but the chocolates were a bigger temptation to me than the gelato haha.
Travel in Venice
Of course it is possible to tour Venice solely by foot but the tendency to get lost into these lookalike streets or to realise you are on the wrong side of the canal.
Buy Venice Card
After some comparison, the card I chose to travel around Venice is Venice Card
And I will highly recommend buying the Venice Connected Card online to get advantage of the online promotion and effectively get a cheaper rate if you plan properly. This is because the card is seasonally priced in the website.
Extracted from: Venice Connected
It is of course of a flat rate if you bought it in Venice itself via the Venice Connected Point.
And whether you want to buy it on the spot or online, you will definitely have to make a trip down to Venice Connected Point to collect the card. One such Venice Connected Point can be found right outside the Venezia S. Lucia Train Station. As you step out of the train station, you will see many little booths selling tickets. Look towards your right for Venice Connected Point.
p/s: It is an irony though that they told me no queue but I ended up in a long queue on a rainy day.

After taking the skyway to Genting, it is time to explore Genting. One of the biggest attraction in Genting is none other than their theme parks.
